ABSTRACT

Cilio-retinal artery block is rare. Field changes in such conditions are scarcely seen. In the presented case, though a centro-cecal scotoma could be plotted, the patient could see 6/60

ABSTRACT

During the study of five cases, the choroidal detachment-like echoes, the mass type lesion and the irregular disorganised patterns were encountered. It was noticed, however, that the obtained sonographs depended upon the precipitating cause, the extent [and stage] of inflammation and the associated structural changes as well as the direction of the transducer. Hence, it seems that the ultrasonographic pattern, alone cannot solely be considered pathognomonic. However, it is recommended not to decide eye-excision before performing the ultrasonography
